The expectation, good movies and the lack of critical perspective on the Kevin Smith film
From time to time I meet someone who tells me something like: "Well yes, lately I have started to watch movies, and I have a list of movies should be seen to be a good movie buff / cinephile "Well, the speech is not exactly true, but I think you take the idea.
Apart from the fact that having seen certain movies have to say that you like the movie is silly or not, the issue is that whenever you join or you begin to get interested in a hobby you have to start somewhere. The film is normal to ask your friends, or take a look at what critics say (or increasingly commonly see that scoring has FilmAffinity or imdb). But it's time to see the supposed masterpiece and it seems you glanders. Of course, now to see that face you tell your friends it's been a crappy movie when all have put by clouds. The point is that you have not created an idea of \u200b\u200bhow the movie should be, and if different from your preconceived idea about plot or quality, and do not seem to be worthwhile.
But what makes a good movie? Arguably
actors, story, direction, special effects (yes, sometimes the effects are good to a movie malilla) or a mixture of the above. To me what makes a good film is the empathy I get to feel me with your particular universe. How you achieve this I have no idea, but I have a theory.
For example, I think that the more love put in a production, but the public will love it you enjoy it. But there is also a handicap , and that is to get this relationship with the viewer, so it does not distract you from what you want to convey, a number of "tricks" that often come in handy to writers; sure we have all seen the same gag repeated in hundreds of different movies, and I therein lies the problem: the more you expose yourself to something you get used more and has less effect.
I mean when you see a considerable number of movies almost everything seems predictable, gags are not funny and just appreciating the film for the quality of the actors or by how well the director kept the pulse with this level of camera in hand. That's lack of perspective, and brings us to where we are now, in a world where critical and box office rarely coincide. Which, of course, is not necessarily bad, but gives a wrong reference to unsuspecting young who trusts too much of such criticism.
What can we draw from this, apart from a headache?, For a couple of little things .
The first is that you always have to go to a movie knowing as little as possible and believing there will be very good, so you can assess each film for what it is: an unpretentious hobby, an experimental work, super great production or a cult. Here are some categories like any other, I used to say that a hobby, without pretensions, for example, can be as good as a movie and worship, but will never be comparable, and should not detract from the other.
The second thing to remember is that every vision is subjective, and if yours does not express those of the other will dominate, and that is something that should never be allowed, you can not go through life thinking that this movie is good if you think when you saw horrific. Although of course we must be receptive to the opinions of others, it is important to forge a criterion as independent possible.

Indeed, this guy is brilliant mind that has brought together so many famous faces (ok, some more than others), and has made many viewers know the faces of friends from childhood.
Born in New Jersey (how novel!), Professes an admiration for his city like Manhattan by Woody Allen (just see his films). While working as a clerk in a grocery store (which also all know it is the Clerks), decided to focus its future movies, enrolling at the Vancouver Film School . Start typing Clerks. Meet Scott Mosier . Meet David Klein . The three decide to be rolled Clerks , but how? no money ... Well then, Kevin returned to the grocery store, sold his prized collection of comic books and looking for money where there is none. And roll Clerks. In 21 days. In 16 mm. In black and white. $ 27,000. Mosier
produce, assemble and mix. Klein is concerned with photography and Kevin takes the script, direction, production and assembly. And by the way, everyone acts performing at 8 different characters to pure Monty Python. Was a success at the Sundance Film Festival. Miramax was interested and asked, " Kevin, what you gonna do now? " And Kevin thought that if he said this was the first film of a trilogy, it's likely to let him record two more. The producer believed it .. and thus was born The New Jersey Trilogy. Recovered
their previous economic position and his collection of comic books, Kevin began in 1995 (after a year the release of Clerks), the second film in his makeshift trilogy. Preferring the funny side of his scripts, with a budget of eight million dollars and with his former team (Scott and David), Kevin Mallrats wheel, which is a box office bomb, (which personally I do not understand because I loved it). But at least Smith had the good taste to make a tribute to one of his greatest passions: comic books. Still, this movie was a great opportunity to meet a large cast of actors and closer to the big companies.
And on to the last part of the trilogy Chasing Amy. To compensate for the funny side of Mallrats, and I imagine that because of the limited success of this, Kevin decides to exploit the dramatic perspective of their stories, trying to link the three movies not so much the plot but the family connections of the characters, and small hints that can easily pass unnoticed.
The three parties have something in common, which is what characterizes the films of Kevin Smith: witty dialogue, clever, funny and politically incorrect. Well, Jay and Silent Bob, of course.

Moreover, the division has Smith Mark Hamill (Luke Skywalker), making supervillain, and Carrie Fisher (Princess Leia), playing a nun's patience limited. The director also takes this issue to close the relationships between characters in previous films: From Clerks Randal appears again, the manager of the video store, Dante, the protagonist under the Quick Stop, Mallrats appears Tricia Jones, the teenager who wrote the bestselling pornographic. In Chasing Amy make cameo Holden (Ben Affleck ), the protagonist who falls for a lesbian, also Banky (Jason Lee ) and Alyssa Jones, lesbian.

Review: Hellboy II Wall-E
1 Curiously, gives voice to German Seth MacFarlane, the creator of Family Guy . 
I've seen Hellboy!. The enthusiasm that comes to mind as I've ever known, I love superhero movies. And if they are superheroes who smoke and drink beer Puracé bulk further. So I really wanted to see this movie. However, as the economy is not going too well, had to choose between going to see a movie film red demon ... and go see the wonderful - wonderful - requeteguay - work-that-you-shit film Dark Knight. I chose to see the first on my computer and if anything was very good to see her in movies. But it was not the case.
I think that when Guillermo del Toro he criticized the excessive special effects and little chicha Blade said something like, film is half-vampire who kills vampires. What did you expect to read Shakespeare Blade? . And he was right. A film need not be intellectually complex. In many cases enough to be entertaining and interesting. My Hellboy (the first) I thought so. But I see that this was the second film.

The Federal Office for the Study of the Paranormal continues its covert activities. "Secret?. Well, not quite, because Hellboy - Ron Perlman - begins to be a little tired of staying in the shade and it is difficult not to be different: two meters, is red and has saved humanity at least once. Interestingly in times of prequels, this is a sequel. Repeated almost all the actors except for Myers who invent a banishment to Alaska is supposed to Liz throws Hellboy arms. Well worth it, consider it normal to find a different boyfriend after a breakup. The first film has the advantage of spending time presenting characters who are quite well made. But the second and has ... What will the writers with them?.
Well, a new character presented itself, but hey, neither by action nor paper worth stopping them. The villain (Luke Goss ) is a sick-looking elf and his sister (Anna Walton ) too, but good. The new well has no face. Neither story to tell, except that it is German and behaves as the (North) Americans supposed to be the Germans 1 . In the film are different aspects zillion creatures that move the market at rush hour. Only that move.
There may be several aspects to be fitted to the plot of depth and interest, respecting all Smite that receives and gives Hellboy. The first is the difficulty in the relationship between the protagonist and Liz, which passes through low hours. The thing does not go very far and is resolved by the White effect (do not know what the technical name will). Another issue of interest could be the dilemma faced by Hellboy and raised him the villain: humanity deserves to be saved?. Surely it would be better the triumph of magical creatures? How beautiful will be lost if Hellboy exterminate them?. The moral dilemma lasts half a minute or so.
Moreover, than expected. Many shots, milk and cookies. Marinated all with the character of Hellboy, we should acknowledge is magnetic. The film also leaves a unique moment when Hellboy and Abraham, Boling missing, they sing a duet a love song. In all this the film does not disappoint. On the other hand I have the idea that, at this point, wonderful special effects talk is nonsense. All are superb.
Finally a detail that I was disappointed. In the trailer film Hellboy see things blowing up the pace of Mein Herz Brennt (My heart burns), the first song to the delightful historical album of Rammstein: Mutter. Eagerly awaiting the time to listen to music during the movie ... and end all. Then get disappointed. Even the group could have been drawn in the film yet unobtrusive too: the average height of its components easily exceeds 1.90. And I have experience as actors in xXx , right?
Best : how well I like Hellboy.
Worst: You did not Shakespeare, just dig a little more where it was already marked.
